She has taught at the Sam Walton School of Business at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, the Maxwell School of Public Policy at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York and at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

She serves on the executive committee of the National Association of Economic Educators (NAEE). Her professional interests are in instructional design, especially the use of technology in the classroom, and economic and financial literacy in K-12 education.
